The information we collect includes but is not limited to, name, address, telephone number, email address, education, training, employment record, skills, qualifications, notice period, CV/Resume, and any other information necessary to perform the recruitment process you have requested.

We collect personal data about you from the application forms you may be asked to complete. We also gather personal data from records of our correspondence, telephone conversations, video interviews, emails, links to your professional profiles available in the public domain and details of your visits to our office.

Processing your Personal Data

Any personal data you volunteer will only be used for the purpose for which it has been provided.

Your personal data will be treated in line with the highest standards of security and confidentiality. In other words, Hynes Agency will treat your personal data strictly in accordance with the E.U. General Data Protection Regulation.

Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data

Our legal basis for the processing of personal data is our legitimate business interests. We will only use your personal information to provide you with our recruitment services. Through agreeing to this privacy notice you are consenting to us processing your personal data for the purposes outlined.

We also rely on contract, legal obligation and consent for specific uses of data. Information is required for us to perform the contract of “Recruitment Agent” on your behalf with potential employers. The basis of data gathering for this purpose is a contractual requirement. We rely on legal obligation if we are legally required to hold information on to you to fulfil our legal obligations. We will rely on consent for particular uses of your data and you will be asked for your explicit consent if legally required.

In summary, your personal data is processed in the legitimate interests of the business of the recruitment agency, and in accordance with and subject to your data subject rights and entitlements.

To ensure we are sending your personal data to the correct person, you will be required to verify your identity. Once this has been done, we will provide you with your personal data within thirty days.   

  • Right to restrict processing. If at any point you object to us using your data in a particular way, you have the right to stop us from processing your data.

  • You have the right to have any inaccuracies corrected. This means that you have the right to have the data rectified by the Data controller without undue delay if you believe your personal data is inaccurate or incomplete.

  • You have the right to have information erased. This is also known as the right to be forgotten. You have the right to have your data erased, within the correct timeframe.

  • You have the right to transfer your data from us to another data controller.  This is known as Data portability.

  • You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data, where we have identified that such processing is based on legitimate interest and you believe that no grounds exist for us to continue to process your data.

We will keep and use your data in terms of any legal or regulatory requirements that we have and can use your data to protect our legal position, in such circumstances as legal action is required.
