Job Description

We are looking for a kind, caring, fun, experienced and professional Nanny to look after two boys aged 4½ and twenty months.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ideally three years experience in a childcare role with at least two full years in the same job.
• Excellent References.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• A childcare qualification up to level 6 (QQI/FETAC) would be preferable.
• An up to date First Aid qualification would be an advantage.

DUTIES:

• 25 to 30 hours per week over three days per week - there is some flexibility over start and end times.
• Assisting the toddler to achieve his developmental milestones.
• Nursery duties.
• Organising and carrying out a range of fun indoor activities including puzzles, games, activities, messy play, etc.
• Bringing the children out to parks, on walks, to the playground, etc.
• Housework relating to the children only.
• Preparing tasty and nutritious snacks and meals for both children.
• Collecting the older child from school and bringing him to after school activities.
• Responsibility for children's laundry.
